Totals: David 355, Lucas 326. I'd call that even. David counted lunges differently but I think I went deeper so I think we can call it a wash. Definitely need to standardize that kind of stuff.
Warm down with Tai Chi 64 & 24 and perhaps other stuff for David and Phil after I bailed.
David's Bonus Warm up: 5mins of Jump Rope and 75 Push-ups

We should change out the jumping lunges for something else that's easy to standardize on like burpies... Whooa! NM... Jumping lunges it is...
ReplyDeleteAlso for the record I call it about even too.
Burpees--I like that. I think I prefer exercises that make me burn out quickly to those that I can do 25+ repetitions (aside from wheel rollouts). Let's try burpees in our next AMRAP and see how many we can do; I really don't know how many I'll be able to get.
ReplyDeleteAlso, jumping lunges and frog leaps are two plyometric exercises (explosive movement). I think one is plenty and burpess are a nice, full-body exercise.
The pull-ups were definitely a nice addition. I'm sore today!
Next AMRAP, when we choose to do it:
rollouts
pull-ups
frog leaps
med. ball toe touch
burpees
dips
push-pulls
That's one more exercise but I think we'll be doing lower reps per exercise.
